Terrible Service
After two days of emailing customer service (I could not get a real person on the phone) I received a very nasty response to my request. The CS rep said I was unable to comprehend what he was saying, accused me of name calling (I asked if he was being deliberately obtuse), and contradicted himself when referring to the warranty on parts and service. The conversation has been posted to Facebook.

Faulty equipment. Unreliable.
System is less than 5 months old. Door alarm went bad a month after it was installed.
We went without our paid for alarm system for a week. Now a month later same door same problem. Talked to the service dept. and bypassed the door (!) .
That's real good security !!!! Set the alarm to go to store came back and disarmed system. Guess what same problem same door. Now we wait 10 days with out our system.
I had hoped we would have no problems with the security of our Home. I have spent over 1.3 hours on hold then I have to set the system that doesn't work. We will wait this service call out but I believe Lester should look into buying quality equipment instead of the cheap stuff.
If the alarm system is not corrected to Our satisfaction then I will request a refund and take our business else were. Oh and if Lester put as much money in his equipment as he does in advertising I probably won't be wasting more of my time writing this complaint.

Trapped by safe touch
do not i repeat do not do business with these people i signed up with them paying 13.95 per month while oweing for the equipment and pait 1300.00 cash to pay for it thinking it would go down instead it went up to $43,90 per month after 4 years on a 3 year contract i tried to cancel the told e to email retention@***h and still getting bills from i called and the rep told me its 3 years plus a 2 years for the contract and saying i can lower it to 38.95 if you do auto draft ,i said no way i can do that because can't be trusted with that.they will trap you so don't do business with them.get ADT i am so pissed i am getting a lawyer

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They trap you into long contracts with horrible service.
I Will NEVER use them again. Don't get suckred into the fancy radio commercials with the Bruiser & Brody character.

I have had nothing but problems with this company! smoke detector was faulty &would just go off randomly in the middle of the night! Your so startled thinking someone is breaking into your home! FIre department shows up & goes threw your home !
I had no idea the contract was 5yr /guess you should really read fine print / you have to own a computer to reset your wifi camera / i have no need for a computer! Just bad bad situation all around /please think about having them install anything in yiur home

Sounds as if it may have been an inside job...would make sense why backup and everything else failed. Come to think of it, sounds like it could be a lucrative living for a crook.
